Vienna, Austria |

Vienna was my third stop at the beginning of my trip. The rain had
lifted for Oktoberfest in Munich, but in Vienna, we were made to pay for
that reprieve. I met Yvonne and 2 girls from Canada, Katie and Becky. We
made the best of it. It is an amazing city, but I want to go back in
Spring.
The first image from Vienna was all of our first Wiener Schnizel. Wow, they were huge and good. We only ate half, and saved the rest for the next day. Good value in an otherwise expensive country.
This is where people must put out their cigarettes before entering the subway. I just had to take a photo. They are all over.
This is where we spent most of our time. ON THE BUS, escaping the rain and the COLD! But, we saw everything, as a result. And we certainly were not going to walk to see it all. Oh well. Next time.
A special monument to Mozart.
My two friends in Vienna that took me around on my last day, and night. My favorite place was a small bar where the music was blasting... Classical Music! It was great. I intend to put scans of the postcards I got here later. There is a lot of architectural beauty in Vienna, not to mention the art. Yvonne and I had another good value there, an opera in the Wiener Stats Oper for 2 EURO! |
