Amparo and I took a short trip the the Big Island, Hawaii. It is the site of the only active volcano on the islands. we saw lava, rain forest, lava tubes, coffee plantations, amazing beaches, the most amazing sunset ever. We also lived through an earthquake on our last night in Hilo. It was 5.3 on the scale and lasted for 12 seconds. VERY SCARRY! But so cool.
