Me on one of the MANY canals in Amsterdam. This one in my neighborhood. Never much activity back here except for the occasional tourist boat.

Me on the street right in front of my place. I was right near Leides Plain, thanks for Alber and Jon. Thanks guys!

That's Alber on the left. He gave me apartment for 3 weeks. It was a great place and I am forever in his debt. That's crazy Goergian Michael on the left. (no, not as in Atlanta)

And that's Jon. He introduced me to Alber in Ibiza, which is where everything emanates from.

This was my favorite little spot of street near where I lived. I saw it everyday as I went back and forth to the gym. Such a beautiful and charming town.

Peter and I met in the Hostel. We took one of the tacky tourist canal cruises. It was nice. We hit it just right for viewing (at dusk) but not too good for taking pictures. Our boat was full of Russians, so there was a guy SCREAMING a translation in Russian after every recorded announcement. It was an experience. (which already came in Dutch, German, French and English)

These bridges are EVERYWHERE and are still very widely in use. Not really sure how they work, but they do.

We went by a canal where you could see down seven bridges. It was a little too dark. But, You can see my bike upper left corner. I had to rent a bike. It was either Rent One, or be KILLED by one.

We had a nice dinner, complete with a visit from the owner's cat. (Actually, he just sort of slept through our dinner.)

It was a nice time in Amsterdam. This was one of those cities where I didn't take too many photos. There was just too much. Later, I will insert scans of my favorite postcards.
